Sometimes is the only way
To find happiness

I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose. Thanks for checking it out. Christine

  1. Christine,
You are so right. I am so thankful to God the Father for the detours in my life that guided me to where I was meant to be all along. I am about to embark on another one, as I am applying to attend college for a Masters in Religious Studies. I prayed for a chance to go to seminary, but being retired, I had no extra funds. Then, I learned quite serendipitously of a program at the university where I earned my doctorate in Sociology of a program that is for people over age 62 and free of tuition and fees, and without having to take the tests for admission! To God be the glory for the paths we often overlook that are quite the roads that lead us home to ourselves and our purpose. Lovely post filled with reality, as usual.
