I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose.
Thanks for checking it out.

Almost as though you were channeling Old Hollywood. I could see her, blonde hair a rats nest. Combed back and pinned in what she believes to be an elegant chignon. Her dress a little tattered around the edges. The home she wanders once was hers or a lover’s. Memories of pain and loss and sunshine and laughter. Drawing her in. Love the poem as you can see. You called quite the picture to mind. 🙂
Thanks so much Jay-lyn ☺️💕 Actually poem was written about a lady I know who is suffering from dementia. She is in her own private world and so disconnected from those who know and love her. It is really quite sad. There are isolated moments of recognition but mostly she is all but lost. I watched her walking around with this statue of a rabbit. About 30 inches tall. It was quite endearing to see. It is hard to glimpse into our own future sometimes. It could well be us one day. It’s a sad disease. I am so happy it resonated with you in a slightly different kind of way but by all accounts similar ☺️. I hope you are doing well my friend. And T of course ❤️
Intriguing imagery 🙂
