One Liner Wednesday – Christmas Gifts

It is Christmas week and I’m sure those who celebrate are in the thick of gift buying, cooking, and are run-ragged trying to make everything perfect. Some of you may be packing a case to visit relatives and friends. I do hope you will be safe if that is what you are planning.

This is the time of year that we turn towards family and friends to rejoice in a season of love and new beginnings. We share gifts because there is something special about the tradition of giving and receiving and I know many of you continue to give with big hearts throughout the year. Whether it is the form of time or money, there is always someone less fortunate than ourselves. Personally I thrive in an inclusive society but sadly, in recent years, the world has become divisive and somewhat selfish. I do hope that will change as we move forward.

I am taking some personal time this week to share with my family and apart from my Daily Haiku, which is scheduled each day, I will not be posting until after the holidays. I want to take this time to thank all of you who have supported my blog every day and made wonderful comments. You are all very special to me and I feel blessed to be part of this wonderful WordPress community with you. I wish you all a very happy and joyful Christmas and the very best for 2022. Be happy and healthy and always pay it forward with your love and kindness.
