I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose.
Thanks for checking it out.

Haunting questions at the beginning, Christine and a heartbreaking tale. 💔
Sheesh. That sounds awful. But I like the phrase and all it might represent, out of context. In an asylum, for example. It would be an interesting Stephen King storyline, in other words.
I’m sorry you’re in pain. But someone else’s behavior is NOT your fault. What a gift that you’re even willing to still care about people like that. I’m quite sure they deeply need your love and tenderness.
strong stuff; I love a woman poet who speaks the truth; as for the concept of Karma, I much prefer the lesser known story about Jesus being asked by one of his disciples about someone befallen by illness ‘what must he have done in the past…’ to which Jesus replies: It is so for him to find the beauty and light of eternal life within (ok the last bit is paraphrased by me). Thanks. 🙂
I do know that we sometimes believe certain things are our Karma when in fact that is not the case. Sometimes we are just with the wrong people. I’d love to hear your feedback on your course sometime Regina. Sounds fascinating ☺️💕
I am finally connecting the dots on Buddhism, What is fascinating is that so much of each religion is the same, such as themes on love and avoiding greed, But, it seems to me that every heart tries to find a connection to someone or something bigger than us, superhuman, as a way to obtain hope that there is a world better than the one we occupy with his hatreds and ignorance.
Yes I agree Regina. I think we all crave that comfort to help us in life and we choose our own path towards that goal. Some are very similar and others no so much, up the basics are you point out are those that include love and sharing. We should all appreciate and accept the different choices in religions and not show anger towards anyone that follow a different road. I’m sure you will love that course ❤️
I do, Christine. And for the reason you mentioned. As a Christian, I am having to learn for myself about other religions, so that I am not judgmental of other religions.
There are those people who do suck the very air you breathe and take over your life. So well done Christine. Sorry for the late read- lots going on right now.

There are so many paths to the “higher power” we seek….and that “higher power” wears many cloaks.
