Spellbound – A Quadrille

Spellbound

The door slightly ajar, welcoming
Gentle sounds of jazz played
Fragrant roses in a vase
greeted her on entering
He stood in the kitchen, smiling
A martini in his outstretched hand
Behind him a table set for dinner
Yes, she was under his spell

  1. Ooh this is absolutely stunning, Christine 😀 I can picture the “Fragrant roses in a vase,” the martini and the ambience that you have created here. Looks like they are about to get hitched. Thank you so much for writing to the prompt. ❤️❤️

      1. Thanks Lisa. Yes, let’s hope! I hate it when WP doesn’t let us comment. So frustrating 😦
