Water Moccasin
Sleeping in its poisoned coil
On the river bank

  1. Oooh, what an intriguing image! Just out of curiosity, what was your inspiration for it?

    1. Actually Joyce it was that image. I was walking my dog and she pulled on the leash towards something I hadn’t noticed in the grass. The next thing she was leaping in the air and something big and blackish flipped in front of me and slithered down the bank of the lake and splashed in. It was a big Water Moccasin 😧 My dog must have stuck her nose in the coil and scared them both to death! Lucky she never git bit. I am really careful when i walk around the lake now 🥵
