I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose.
Thanks for checking it out.

I love maidenhair ferns, how wonderful they grow everywhere in the south. Nice tribute poem to the beauties!
I agree, the maidenhair is a pretty name, Christine, and a lovely delicate fern. Knowing them as a houseplant, I smiled to think of them ‘popping up in between concrete cracks’.

Thanks Lisa. I’ve always been fond of them too. They can be a pesky little bugger, but very easy to pull. ☺️💕

Oh, delightful! It’s a treasured houseplant here – I guess many many plants are weeds somewhere…

Thanks Kim. It is a pretty fern and I had one as a houseplant too way back when … ☺️💕

It looks so nice, but I guess that many plants can become a weed somewhere else.
