Colors

Silken threads of apricot and cream
weave their way
across the late afternoon sky
Changing hues on their journey
towards evening
A thin paper moon pushes up
from the eastern sky
bringing a thin cover of evening colors
Greys and navy blues
Continually changing patterns
of colors and shapes
Awe inspiring in its beauty
A nightly fascinating wonder
