Role Playing

Role Playing

My role is unique

I’m somewhat of a freak

A drum roll I compose

No intention to impose

I play the part

With all my heart

Will I pass the audition?

My hard work come to fruition?

Thanks, but no thanks

No need to fill in the blanks

I didn’t get the job

Now my head begins to throb

No room for any sorrow

Back at it again tomorrow

I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose. Thanks for checking it out. Christine
