Offering

The forecast is bright
with no chance of showers
The sun shines
and birds sing
My world full of flowers
 
A spring in my step
and a steady gait
As I walk towards you
well prepared 
and accepting of my fate
 
Determined to win you back
in this arena of possibility
My confidence level high
With balance of mind
Convinced of the feasibility
 
A heady combination
Of love and adoration
I bring you my heart
as my humble offering
and wait in anticipation
