Over and Out

Over and Out

You glare at me
with a look that could sour
grapes on the vine
Full of contempt
and just a little crazy
I take it as a sign

Our affair is history
Friendship notwithstanding
Your words are now snide
I have zero tolerance
for this excursion to lunacy
I never signed up for that ride

I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose. Thanks for checking it out. Christine

  1. I hear ya! And wanted to let you know I moved from “word-whelmed”–keeping a lower profile, hopefully, but had to follow you again 🙂 ❤
