Song Lyric Sunday – Lady Marmalade

This week for Song Lyric Sunday, Jim Adams has prompted us with Dreams/Lullaby/Sleep. I like this theme! I have gone with the great Patti La Belle’s Lady Marmalade with famous lyrics “Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?”. We all know it means “Will you sleep with me tonight?” but I don’t think they will be sleeping much so hope it still fits the category!

    1. Thank you Jim. I just couldn’t post last week, but I love your song lyric challenge! So much fun. I think this song was used in another prompt some weeks ago but it definitely relates to ‘sleeping’ 🤣

  2. I love the original but I am more of a fan of the 2001 remake. Maybe because I love Christina’s vocals more. But Patti is talented too.
