Mish is hosting D'Verse Poets tonight and has prompted us with beautiful art by Beverly Dyer I chose her painting of the Owl as it is a symbol of wisdom. Sometimes we forget how wise we are, particularly when we lose sight of ourselves.
I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose.
Thanks for checking it out.

Thanks so much Beverly. 🙂💕 A good look in the mirror sometimes is all you need to put the focus back on you and what you have allowed yourself to become.
Wise words! 🙂💞

It’s tough talk but if you care for a person, they need to hear it.

Nice line: “When did you start to do stupid?” I keep asking that about myself as well.

Much wisdom in the third stanza! It’s sad when we repeat, repeat without seeing another way to make a change.
