I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose.
Thanks for checking it out.

This is not that particular festival…but very similar 🙂 Perfectly captured, Christine.
Well I live in India, I didn’t even know that such kind of festival even existed. 😅 Festivals aren’t meant to merely experienced, they are to be celebrated which you have done so splendidly through your glorious words. Well done, Christine. 👌👏
Its good to know that you think so highly about India. I deal with British customers so I’m rather captivated by the English culture as well. Have you ever been to India in the past?
Oh you have been to Delhi.. Do let me know if you plan to drop by anytime in the future once this corona virus eradicates. I’d be happy to be your guide and perhaps help you explore my city in a unique way. You are always welcomed to visit India again. 😁

I figured it was a different one, it just reminded me of the Up Helly Aa fire festivals. Thanks Sue 🙂

My zodiac sign’s element is fire, I think I’d be like fish to water when it comes to this fire festival. 😅
Thank you for sharing about your culture in the form of such a delightful post.

Thanks Sidharth. Although I’m British I did not grow up in Scotland so did not experience Up Helly Aa first hand. I just know about them

Yes two times. Many years ago to Mumbai (Bombay) and them 7 years ago to New Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. A wonderful visit and memorable 🙂
