Circle of Stones

Circle of Stones

Pale sun behind
gossamer clouds
Morning light fused
in sleepy silver grey
shrouding ancient stones
in a cloak of mystery
A pathway defining
entry to a sacred site
harboring history
of centuries past
Enticing,
beckoning
those who would
surrender and
dare to dance

I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose. Thanks for checking it out. Christine

      1. Seriously though, I have been to a few. There are many throughout Scotland and Ireland but I did not dance! 🙂
