It Takes Two To Tango – A Quadrille

It Takes Two To Tango

A tango of emotions
in my heart
My nervous system
runs on high alert
and my mind feels like
it was struck by lightning
Your magnetic force
is like rubbing against
sharp edges
of bad feelings
Revelations come
rushing in
I have had enough

  1. This resonates deeply 💝 It’s certainly a tango of sorts as we seek to comprehend the emotions engulfing us from all sides. 🙂

    1. Yes Sanaa. Complicated steps that can be dangerous if not executed properly, at least in the Argentine Tango! ☺️💕

  2. Oh my….this “twisted” for me. I thought it was going to be about positive passion….and then you end it
    “Your magnetic force
    is like rubbing against
    sharp edges
    of bad feelings
    Revelations come
    rushing in
    I have had enough”

Like rubbing against sharp edges is the most visceral and damning for the relationship. Very glad to see the affirmative final line.

    1. Thank you Lillian. It’s the expression, “It takes two to tango” that infers there is something up ☺️
