I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose.
Thanks for checking it out.

“Navy clouds
as the sun sinks low
and night brings its hue” YES YES YES! The perfect description for what I see sometimes in Provincetown, on the tip of Cape Cod, as the night sky takes over. I’ve never thought of calling them navy….but YES!
I enjoyed this very much.
Blue is truly a poet’s colour, the sound of the word, and its many rhymes. I love how you’ve captured so many different shades, Christine, especially the ‘navy clouds as the sun sinks low’ and the ‘hydrangeas kissed with dew’.

Oh Lillian thanks so much ☺️ Yes they are indeed Navy. I live on the coast too so maybe that’s why. I’m happy you enjoyed it.

I can identify with the feeling of blues here, so strongly evoked through your words. The sea both separates and connects us!
