  1. Although I imagine it is not about this; when I read it I pictured a woman crouched down reaching out to a child. Likely one she is adopting. And the little person (can’t decide boy or girl) solemnly staring at her as though debating whether or not to trust her. 🙂

    1. You’re right it wasn’t! I do love the way you go to the dark side 🤣. It could be the beginning of a horror story/poem/movie by Jay-lyn 👍💕

      1. This is I think the third one of your Haikus that have given me a very vivid image. One was the one I mentioned about hazy romantic art type pic of woman sitting under willows crying in the rain. 2nd was the one that had me imagining a young man in a house smack dab in the middle of no where surrounded by nothing with an old skeletal tree and you hear a gun shot ring out. And this one. I never thought of it in a horror way I was thinking more a child who had seen more than they should in their young life trying to decide if this woman truly will love and care for them. Can they trust her?

      2. You have a very creative mind, that’s for sure! You should think about tying all three together into a story perhaps ☺️👍
