I have been writing poetry since I was a child and it has helped in the good times and bad times. I am always looking within to find the answers to life's problems and to write thought-provoking poetry and prose.
Thanks for checking it out.

What a pretty picture you have painted, Christine! I especially love the image of daffodils tripping over themselves. Thanks for joining in. 😊❤️
This is such a beautiful depiction of spring, Christine! I love the daffodils tripping over themselves (though I don’t think of them as lazy). 😊 Nature never sleeps is so accurate–even when we think it does. Is that your art?
Thank you Merril. The daffodils look a little drunk when they are bent over! The art was not mine but a lucky find. It even had an owl sitting on the bare branches! ☺️
I think you subtly really caught the mood of early spring, at least very strongly for me, that feeling of it being a ravaged land, recovering from winter…very nicely done, powerfully

Thank you. Sadly I don’t see them here in the southern US but they are fond memories.

Maybe it’s a good thing Nature never sleeps – we need something to watch over us!
