A Piece of Work
A moment on the tongue
Is a lifetime in the mind
This she must remember
In order to be kind
A provocateur
Looking for distraction
Poking the hornet’s nest
Hoping for a reaction
Internally passionate
And outwardly belligerent
Those who manage to get close
Only experience indifference
Manufactured words
and constructed criticisms
Her weapons of choice
In her distorted idealisms
An emotional jig-saw
trying to piece herself together
If revelation comes
It will change like the weather

I notice the inner crisis she faces, how to speak into the situation, how to speak to the provocateur.
